Hanoi (VNA) – The 12th National Vocational SkillsCompetition opened both in online and offline forms in Hanoi, Vinh Long and Quang Ninhon December 6.
Speaking at the opening, General Director of the Directorate of Vocational EducationTruong Anh Dung said nearly 180 contestants from 25 delegations will compete in11 vocations online using cloud computing, big data and broadband connectiontechnology, and three vocations offline.
The event is also meant to choose qualified contestants for the national team to compete inthe second Asian and 46th WorldSkills competitions.
Its activities will take place from December 1-December 12, including atechnical workshop, thematic seminars, opening and closing ceremonies.
Contestants will compete in five vocations online in the first stagefrom December 2-5, and six others online and three offline in the second stagefrom December 7-9. The closing ceremony is scheduled for Decembe🌼r 12afternoon./.
A Vietnam – Australia seminar on vocational skills took place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 23, within the framework of the Australian Vocational Skills Week in Vietnam.
Ten more young Vietnamese have been chosen to become Vietnam’s ambassadors of vocational skills this year by the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
