Vietnam will host the 8th International Conference of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network for the Asia-Pacific Region from September 5-17 in the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on August 22.

Cao Bang authority has announced it had built a detailed 'scenario' for hosting the 8th symposium of the Asia Pacific Geoparks Network (APGN) so that it will take place on time in September.

The 8th symposium of the Asia Pacific Geoparks Network (APGN), slated for this September, is expected to help promote tourism in the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang.
