The Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) has stated that more than 50 countries are so far intent on cooperating with Indonesia in halal product assurance.

The international terminal at Da Nang International Airport in the central city of Da Nang has become the first and the only terminal in Vietnam to get a 5-star rating by international airport rating agency Skytrax, according to Do Trong Hau, Deputy General Director of the Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT).

The northern province of Tuyen Quang has had more than 25,000 hectares of forest granted sustainable forest management certificates in accordance with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards, and is among the localities with the largest planted forest area that has received certification.

Vietnam has been making efforts to foster organic farming, including a decree issued last August which should be implemented as soon as possible, experts told a forum in HCM City on December 25.
