Journalist and photographer Chu Chi Thanh is a former war correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency. He has many lifetime photos on the subject of war, of which the most prominent ones are those capturing moments that anticipate or forecast the not-so-distant day of peace.

Winners of the 2022 Ho Chi Minh Awards and State Awards for Literature and Arts were honoured at a ceremony in Hanoi on May 19, the birthday of the late President. President Vo Van Thuong attended the event.
