The Asia Tourism Development Institute (ATI) and the Korea Tourism Management Association organised a conference in Hanoi on November 30 to promote tourism, trade, and education cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).

Nearly 100 one-on-one business meetings between Vietnamese importers and enterprises from Gyeongbuk and Chungbuk provinces of the Republic of Korea (RoK) have been arranged during a recent trade exchange programme in Hanoi, said the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in Hanoi (KOTRA Hanoi).

Authorities of the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Chungbuk province, about 105 km south of Seoul capital, have said they will promote the resumption of international flights at Cheongju International Airport, including direct ones to Vietnam.
