The tourism sector in the central province of Nghe An is striving to serve 5.5 million visitors staying in the locality this year and earn 9 trillion VND (353.7 million USD) in revenue.

Festivals are underway in the central province of Quang Nam, the north-central province of Nghe An and northern Lao Cai province to boost tourism recovery and development following COVID-19.

Drowning among children is a huge concern in many countries. To reduce the risk, Nghe Hai commune, Cua Lo district, Nghe An province has opened swimming classes for children on Lam Giang river.
