The Vietnam-Korea Plus Partnership Week 2024 was kicked off in HCM City on July 16 by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with other organisations.

The upcoming trip to Vietnam by Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone is expected to create new impulse for the special cooperation between the two countries, especially economic collaboration, making it a firm pillar of the bilateral ties.

Vietnam stands ready to work as a bridge to help Russia as well as the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) expand ties with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), towards a trade and investment agreement between the two regions, a senior Vietnamese official said on September 4.
