Experiencing flood season tourism in Dong Thap
Upstream border communes of the southern province of Dong Thap, including Thuong Phuoc, are now entering the flood season, locally known as the floating water season. Making use of this unique feature, the Farmers’ Association and Women’s Union of Thuong Phuoc commune, in collaboration with the management board of Giong Bang hamlet, have launched a tour to experience flood season. The model has initially created a positive effect, attracting many visitors, promoting the local image and helping residents increase their income.
