A political consultation between the Vietnamese and Lao ministers of foreign affairs took place in Vientiane on December 16, reviewing the past cooperation between their ministries and discussing future joint work and international and regional matters of common interest.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc and his Peruvian counterpart John Peter Camino Cannock co-chaired the fifth political consultation between their respective ministries in Lima on October 3.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang and Italian Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Maria Tripodi co-chaired the fifth political consultation between the two ministries to discuss orientations to promote the bilateral Strategic Partnership in the coming time.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs To Anh Dung and his Uzbekistani counterpart Furkat Sidikov co-chaired the fifth political consultation via videoconference on January 21 to discuss bilateral ties as well as regional and global issues of shared concern.

Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son conducted the fifth political consultation with Cuba’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina González as part of his official visit to Cuba on September 19-21.
