The 2023 Southeast Asia Report – Technology in Education was launched in Hanoi on May 24 by UNESCO and the Vietnam National Institute of Educational Sciences in partnership with the Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO) and the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report Team based in UNESCO.

The “Vietnam’s quintessence in gems” collection, belonging to gem collector Hong Trang in Hanoi, brings together thousands of types of gems with an ethereal glow.

Vietnam’s export of gems and precious metals reached 729.85 million USD in revenue in the first nine month of this year, a year-on-year increase of 63.44 percent.

Indian and Vietnamese gem and jewellery companies, which met on August 23 at an event organised by the Indian consulate in HCM City, agreed there is much potential for bilateral cooperation.
