The funding is channelled through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Thesecond phase of the project is implemented from now until July 2016,focusing on natural disaster risk management with the community’sinvolvement, improvement of awareness about the issue, and enhancementof preventive measures.
Thua Thien Hue province’sPeople’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Truong Luu said that JICA has helpedthe province carry out a project to improve the central provinces’natural disaster adaptation capacity in the 2009-2012 period.-VNA
