A cultural event showcasing the heritage of Vietnam’s northern region of Kinh Bac - a land with long history and ancient culture in the country, was held recently in Paris, France.

An event titled “ Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac Cultural Night” was held in Paris on May 31 to promote cultural values of the northern province of Bac Ninh which is often referred to as Kinh Bac – a land with long history and ancient culture in Vietnam.

Perhaps not only the Vietnamese people but also many foreigners who love Vietnam can sing the touching Quan Ho (love duets) passionately.

Diem village festival which honours the creator of quan ho (love duet singing) opened in the northern province of Bac Ninh on March 22 (the sixth day of the second lunar month).

Whenever describing the Kinh Bacarea (an old name for a large area in northern Vietnam, covering the provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang), we always mentionthe two world heritage sites and hundreds of relic sites, beauty spots, and traditional craft villages.
