Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone has hailed the collaboration between the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and the Lao ministries and agencies, especially the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications.

A disaster data and communication lab was inaugurated in the Lao capital city of Vientiane on August 6, marking a significant step in science-technology cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

The Vietnam Post Corporation will help the Lao Post Corporation with digital transformation and application of digital platforms to postal services, General Director of the Vietnamese firm Chu Quang Hao said on October 10.

Lao Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh applauded the cooperation between the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and ministries of Laos while receiving a VAST delegation in Vientiane on July 27.
