Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has approved the national programme for the conservation of endangered, precious and rare wildlife species prioritised for protection to 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Vietnam has introduced a new National Park Passport, which aims to nurture the development of ecotourism in national parks and nature reserves.

A webinar held on December 24 pointed out the need to develop sustainable livelihoods for residents in the buffer zones of nature reserves and national parks so as to help with forest conservation.
