Ninh Thuan, Russia’s Kursk province boost cooperation
The central coastal province of Ninh Thuan and the Russian locality of Kursk signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on December 8 to strengthen cooperation.

Per the MoU, the two sides will boostpartnership in economics, education, culture, tourism and youth affairs. They will also establish twinnededucational facilities between Kursk’s Kurchatov city and Ninh Thuan’s PhanRang – Thap Cham city. The MoU also allows thelocalities to foster cooperation in high-class tourism, high-techagriculture and agro-fisheries processing and exporting. Located in central Russia, Kursk sharessimilarities in area, population and socio-economic conditions with Ninh Thuan. Possessing strengths in industry,technology and education, the Russian locality has cooperated with 82 countriesand territories through 300 export-import businesses.-VNA
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung and First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov have discussed measures to boost economic-trade cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.
