Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired the 4th meeting of the Coordinating Council for the North-Central and Central Coastal Region in Thua Thien – Hue province on May 19, during which the decision approving the regional planning scheme for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050 was announced.

The planning for the north-central and central coastal region for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, has introduced new and innovative insights and proposals based on the region's advantages and strengths, said Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung at a conference held in Da Nang on October 11.

On February 5, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference on the implementation of the Government’s action plan to materialise a Politburo’s Resolution on orientations for socio-economic development and national defence and security in the north-central and central coastal regions by 2030 with a vision towards 2045.
