The Royal Cambodian Army Command has recently held a ceremony to award 470 Friendship Orders of the Vietnamese State and certificates of merit to Cambodian police and military officers, and officials of localities.

A building for preserving remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who had laid down their lives during wartime in Cambodia was inaugurated at a ceremony held on January 31.

The K72 team of the southern province of Binh Phuoc’s Military Command on January 6 completed the first phase of the 22nd period of searching for the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who laid down their lives in Cambodia during the war.

Remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts found in Laos were handed over to the Vietnamese side for repatriation at a ceremony held in Vientiane on May 7.
