A coffee brand from the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak held a ceremony in Buon Ma Thuot City on December 1 to mark the shipment of its first roasted coffee container to the US. The event marked a significant step in introducing local coffee to the global stage.

Vietnam aims to increase value of coffee products by processing more than 25 percent of its coffee beans by 2020, according to the Processing and Market Development Authority (AgroTrade) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
