Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam-Romania FriendshipAssociation held a ceremony in Hanoi on November 25 to mark Romania’s 99th Great Union Day (December 1, 1918-2017).
The association’s President Tong Van Nga congratulatedRomanian people on their great achievements over the past years, while thankingfor their support for Vietnam’s past struggle for national liberation andcurrent nation building cause.
Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni affirmed thatthe two countries’ traditional friendship is growing well.
Speaking of the role played by the Vietnam-RomaniaFriendship Association, he said that the association is a bridge which hashelped boost mutual understanding between the two peoples and step upcooperation between enterprises of the two countries.

An exhibition featuring works by famed overseas Vietnamese artist Van Duong Thanh is being displayed at the National Village Museum located in Bucharest, Romania.
Vietnam’s history, country, people and culture are introduced through a 90-page book named “Vietnam: Peace, Integration and Development” published by the Romanian Craiova University Publishing House.
