Vietnamese shooter Trinh Thu Vinh advanced to the Paris 2024 Olympics’ 25-metre pistol women’s final as she ranked fourth with 587 points at the qualification event on August 2.

Gymnastics athlete Nguyen Van Khanh Phong on September 27 secured a silver in the rings category for Vietnam at the ongoing 19th Asian Games (ASIAD 2023) in Hangzhou city of China’s Zhejiang province.

Vietnam has sent a team to the Southeast Asian Shooting Championship 2017, which opened in Malaysia on May 3.
