The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), along with other UN agencies, has reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting Vietnam in ensuring national food security and building efficient food systems.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) stands ready to cooperate with all countries in promoting sustainable food systems, ensuring sufficient and nutritious food for everyone, eradicating poverty, and fostering rural development so that no one is left behind, Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN, said on October 17.
Vietnam is ready to coordinate with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and international partners to achieve the targets of this year’s World Food Day (October 16), an official has said.
