Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Thailand’s “Thainess Power” exhibition at Expo 2025 Osaka has reportedly attracted more than 16,000 visitors since opening on September 1.

Organised by the Public Relations Department (PRD), the exhibition runs through September 16 and offers an interactive experience that blends Thai culture, innovation, and digital engagement on a global stage.

Visitors are welcomed with activities such as “A Touch of Thainess,” a souvenir giveaway based on fortune drawing, and “The Power of Thailand,” a main screen presentation. The AI photo booth, which allows guests to wear virtual Thai costumes, has become a popular attraction and is widely shared on social media. The PRD is also using the platform to promote official information channels, including the Thailand website, PRDEE app, and NBT World Online.

PRD Director-General Sudruetai Lertkasem led a series of visits to international pavilions during the event. At the Japan Pavilion, she met with Deputy Director-General Norihiko Takubo to discuss tourism ties.

At the China Pavilion, she held talks with Deputy Director-General Zhou Guangyao on trade and tourism, while viewing displays that included lunar soil samples from China’s space missions. At the Kuwait Pavilion, she met Deputy Director-General Haya Al-Fouzan to explore trade and investment prospects.

Each pavilion offered its own themed experience. Japan presented a sustainability concept featuring a green Hello Kitty mascot, China showcased its national story through a scroll-shaped structure, and Kuwait introduced visitors to its natural and cultural landscapes through immersive displays.

𒀰 The PRD extended invitations to all three delegations to visit Thailand again, with Phuket receiving strong interest as a preferred destination./.
