Honda Motor announced on July 9 that it will cease vehicle production at its Ayutthaya factory in Thailand by 2025 to focus on consolidating operations at the Prachin Buri plant, also in the Southeast Asian country.

TC Motor has said that it will halt vehicle production in the northern province of Ninh Binh from April 1 to 15 over concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The automobile market is expected to change dramatically from now to the end of this year as the production of cars in Vietnam starts to recover.
