Vietnam attends international charity bazaar in Ukraine

The event, held annually by the International Women’s Club of Kiev to raisefunds for disadvantaged elderly, women and children in the host nation, drewthe participation of 42 foreign diplomatic offices and internationalorganisations based in Ukraine.
Money raised through the event will be used for charity. It also offeredopportunities for diplomatic delegations in Kiev to promote cultural exchangesand tighten relations with the host country.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine has participated in the event for years tosupport the needy in Ukraine.
The charity fair is also a great occasion for the embassy to introduceVietnamese people and culture to international friends, expanding exchanges anddeveloping economic-trade and tourism relations with other countries.-VNA
The Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia has participated in a charity fair in Bratislava together with 38 foreign representative offices and five international organisations based in the capital.
Vietnam was the chair of the 41st Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) Charity Bazaar, held in Tokyo, Japan, on April 19, which attracted the participation of 19 regional countries.
