Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son will pay a visit to China from December 8-11, during which he will co-chair the 16th meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation, at the invitation of Politburo member, Director of the Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee's Commission for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Chairman of the Vietnam Sub-Committee in the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation, had a meeting with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Director of the Office of the CPC Central Committee’s Commission for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, and Chairman of the China Sub-Committee in the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation, in Beijing on April 8.

President Vo Van Thuong hosted a reception in Hanoi on December 1 for Politburo member, Director of the Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee's Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, who is in Vietnam to attend the 15th meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation.

The 15th Meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation was held in Hanoi on December 1 under the co-chair of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Politburo member, Director of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Foreign Affairs Commission Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on April 18, on the occasion of his tour to China to co-chair the 10th meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation.
