Vietnam reports 48th case testing positive for SARS-CoV-2

The Health Ministry has announced the 48th case of COVID-19 in the country, a 31-year-old man in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hanoi, (VNA) – The Health Ministry has announced the48th case of🍰 COVID-19 in the country, a 31-year-old man in Ho ChiMinh City.

The patient rode in the same car withpatient No 45th and together with No. 45th met with patientNo. 34th in Binh Thuan province.

On March 11 morning, afterthe announcement of the 34th case, the man was instructed to takequarantine at home. On Mar﷽ch 13, he was transferred to a quarantine facilityand had samples taken for test. The city’s Pasteur Institute confirmed he testedpositive for the coronavirus this morning.

The patient has not shownany symptom and his health is stable.

So far eight persons having close co🎃ntact with the 34th case have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The first 16 COVID-19 inVietnam have been completely cured. The remaining cases are receiving treatmentin hospital and their health conditions are showing positive signs./.
