With more than 1,000 precious photos and concise articles, the book chronicles the evolution and growth of Vietnam’s revolutionary press in tandem with the key milestones of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the nation’s broader revolutionary path.

Ninety-five years ago on June 21, 1926, the first issue of Thanh nien (Youth) newspaper representing the voice of Vietnamese Revolutionary Youth League founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (aka Ho Chi Minh) was published, marking the birth of Vietnam’s revolutionary press as the country remained under the yoke of French colonial rule.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc lauded journalists for having helped create public trust and rally forces to build a constructive and service-oriented government.
