Hanoi (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), in coordination with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held a ceremony on September 15 to launch a research, survey, and thematic exchange programme with senior and mid-level officials from Russia.

Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Director of the HCMA, stated that this activity holds great significance in strengthening the traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and mutual trust between the two nations as committed by Party General Secretary To Lam and President Vladimir Putin during the Vietnamese leader’s visit to Russia in May.

In the context of global uncertainty, enhancing cooperation in training and developing a capable leadership and management workforce is an essential task. According to Lam, this is not only a national priority for each country but also a form of mutual support and sharing aimed at achieving a common goal of sustainable development, peace, cooperation, and prosperity.

According to the organisers, the exchange programme with 34 senior and mid-level leaders and managers from Russia includes nine thematic sessions held at the academy and three practical thematic activities at various ministries, agencies, and localities.

It focuses on the socio-economic development model for Vietnam’s administrative reform, the country’s development strategy to 2045, and core values in the Vietnam-Russia relationship and future orientations. It also includes Vietnam’s import-export strategy, and science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation./.
