Hanoi (VNA) – The armies of Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to intensify their cooperation in liaison information in order to deep🧸en the two countrꦛies’ defence relations.

The consensus was reached at a working session in Hanoi on August 11 between Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) Lt. Gen. Pham Hong Huong and Head of the Information Department under the Cambodian Defence Ministry Gen. Phorn Nara. Both stated that the good neighbourliness and traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia have seen positive developments in numerous fields, including defence. They stressed the need to foster collaboration between the Liaison Information Arm and the Information Technology Department of the General Staff of the VPA and Cambodia’s Information Department, with the focus on personnel training.-VNA
