Vietnamese, Cambodian armies boost liaison information cooperation
The armies of Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to intensify their cooperation in liaison information in order to deepen the two countries’ defence relations.
Hanoi (VNA) – The armies of Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to intensify their cooperation in liaison information in order to deep🧸en the two countrꦛies’ defence relations.
The consensus was reached at a working session in Hanoi on August 11 between Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) Lt. Gen. Pham Hong Huong and Head of the Information Department under the Cambodian Defence Ministry Gen. Phorn Nara.
Both stated that the good neighbourliness and traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia have seen positive developments in numerous fields, including defence.
They stressed the need to foster collaboration between the Liaison Information Arm and the Information Technology Department of the General Staff of the VPA and Cambodia’s Information Department, with the focus on personnel training.-VNA
Vietnam’s general police department opened a training course in Ho Chi Minh City on July 4 on drug investigative techniques and strategies to help Cambodia improve its anti-drug capability.
The Ministry of National Defence and the Vietnam People’s Army’s General Staff always supports cooperation between the ministry’s Department of Legal Affairs and its Cambodian counterpart.
