On September 15, 1945, the Vietnam News Agency - named by President Ho Chi Minh – aired the full text of the Declaration of Independence and the list of the members of the provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in three languages – Vietnamese, English and French. The event was of great importance for not only the Vietnam News Agency but also the whole nation. September 15 later became the traditional day of the State news agency.

On behalf of the Politburo, on August 22, 2025, Party General Secretary To Lam signed and promulgated the Politburo’s Resolution on breakthroughs in education and training development (Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW). Accordingly, the Politburo set the target of improving quality of preschool and general education to reach advanced standards in Asia by 2030.

The nationwide project to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses has been basically completed 5 years and 4 months earlier than planned, marking a special achievement that reflects the will of the Party and the people.
