Vietnam News Agency: Proud milestones
On September 15, 1945, the Vietnam News Agency - named by President Ho Chi Minh – aired the full text of the Declaration of Independence and the list of the members of the provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in three languages – Vietnamese, English and French. The event was of great importance for not only the Vietnam News Agency but also the whole nation. September 15 later became the traditional day of the State news agency.
