The winners have operated in various fields such as tourism, trade, transport, services, manufacturing, and banking.

Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee Nguyen ThiHong praised these businesses for their significant contributions to thesocio-economic development of the city and the country as a whole atthe honour ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on January 5.

The annual award voted by customers nationwide aims to encourageenterprises to build prestigious brands of high quality, and enhance thecompetitiveness of Vietnamese goods in both domestic and foreignmarkets.

Businesses such as Saigontourist,Viettravel, AIG Insurance, Saigon Co-op and Big C, which have wonrecognition for five consecutive years, were also presented with thegold brand credit.-VNA
