After 10 years of being recognised by UNESCO as a world cultural and natural heritage, the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex has proven to be a vital asset and a key driver for the socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province. Trang An possesses all the necessary elements to become a center of the “Millennium Heritage city”.

The 2023 Ninh Binh tourism week themed “The Golden Colour of Tam Coc - Trang An” kicked off in Hoa Lu district of the northern province of Ninh Binh on may 27.

Do Thi Tuyen remembered the early days when she joined a tourist boat team in her hometown in the northern province of Ninh Binh in 2003.

A UNESCO workshop was held in celebration of Vietnam signing on to the 1972 Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The event represents efforts to help improve public awareness, and elevate the conservation and maintenance of cultural and natural relics.

A Trang An Festival took place at the Trang An scenic complex in the northern province of Ninh Binh on April 21.

The first national conference on the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in Vietnam was held in Hanoi on July 27, with the participation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, head of the UNESCO Vietnam branch Michael Croft, as well as authorities from World Heritage Site localities, cultural researchers, and experts.

The two-day Trang An Festival began at the Suoi Tien Temple within the Trang An scenic complex in the northern province of Ninh Binh on April 15.
