15th NA’s 9th plenary session to open on May 5

A preparatory meeting will be held before the 9th session of the 15th-tenure parliament officially kicks off at 9am on May 5.

Hanoi (VNA) – The 15th National Assembly (NA) will convene its 9th session at the NA building in Hanoi on May 5.

Before the opening ceremony, leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, and NA deputies will pay a floral tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.

At 8am, the legislature will hold a preparatory meeting when deputies will listen to an address by NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Member of the NA Standing Committee Le Quang Tung will present a report on revisions to the proposed agenda of the 9th session. The NA will then discuss and vote to adopt the agenda.

At 9am, the 9th session will officially kick o🗹ff, with the opening sitting to be broadcast live on channels VTV1 of the Vietnam Television and VOV1 of Radio the Voice of Vietnam./.
