The passengers included children aged below 18, the elderly,pregnant women, the sick, workers whose visas and labour contracts expired, studentswithout residences due to dormitory closure and other especially disadvantagedcases.
The airline seriously took security, safety and quarantinemeasures during the flight.
After landing at Noi Bai international airport, the passengerswere put under quarantine in line with regulations.
In accordance with the Prime Minister’s directions, similarflights will be conducted in the near future to bring citizens to the homeland,taking into account domestic quarantine capacity./.
More than 340 Vietnamese citizens in the UK have been brought home on a flight arranged by Vietnamese agencies, the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK, Vietnam Airlines and UK agencies on July 12 and 13.
