47 new COVID-19 cases reported on June 22 early morning

The Ministry of Health (MoH) confirmed 47 new locally-infected cases of COVID-19 in the past 12 hours to 6am on June 22, pushing the national count to 13,530.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of Health (MoH) confirmed47 new locally-infected cases of COVID-19 in the past 12 hours to 6am on June22, pushing the national count to 13,530.

Of the new cases, 36 were found  in Ho Chi Minh City, nine in Bac Giang, andone each in Nghe An and Gia Lai.

To date, Vietnam has documented 11,827 domestically-transmitted infections and1,703 imported ones.

The number of recoveries is 5,453, while the death toll related to COVID-19 is 69.

Among the active patients, 377 have testednegative for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 once, 132 twice and 141 thrice.

Eighteen provinces that were hit by thepandemic have gone through 14 days without new infections.

In the context of complicateddevelopments, the MoH called on citizens to follow the 5K message, includingkhau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khongtu tap (no gathering), and khai bao y te (health declaration), to help containthe outbreaks./.
