Hanoi (VNA) – ThePower Transmission Company No.3 said it expects to transmit some 8.7 billionkWh of electricity via the 220kV lines to south central and Central Highlands provincesthis year

Hoang Xuan Phong, director of thecompany said, technicians will regularly check electricity meters and transformersto ensure better transmission.

The company will also work withcontrol centres to mitigate overloading on transmission lines and identifycauses of incidents to prevent similar occurrences.

It is scheduled to continue raisingpublic awareness of how to ensure the safety of high-voltage power transmissioncorridors by signing agreements with households and organisations living inareas where the lines run through.

The company will also providefurther training for its staff on labour safety, as well as fire and disasterprevention to mitigate damages to the grid caused by natural disasters in thecentral and Central Highlands regions.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
