ACB honoured “Most improved retail bank in Asia Pacific 2015”

The Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) was recently honoured with the “Most improved retail bank in Asia Pacific 2015” award by the prestigious Asian Banker Magazine.

Selection criteria werebased on outstanding performance and breakthrough developments in thefields of operation process, product development, risk management andIT.

ACB was the only bank to receive the award in the Asia-Pacific region.

In2014, the bank’s total assets exceeded 179 trillion VND (8.5 billionUSD), up 8 percent from 2013, and total pre-tax profits reached 1.2trillion VND (57.6 million USD) a 17 percent rise from previous year.

Otherindexes have shown improvement; the bank’s bad debt ratio decreasedconsiderably from 3.1 percent in 2013 to 2.2 percent in 2014.

Thebank’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) reached 14 percent compared to theminimum ratio of 9 percent required by the State Bank and theLoan-Deposit Ratio (LDR) was 75.2 percent.
