Hanoi (VNA) – The Government has approved aprotocol on adjustments to the Agreement on Double Taxation Avoidance withIndia, which was signed in Hanoi on September 3, 2016. The Prime Minister has also given his approval to thecontent of an agreement on lending and financial mechanisms for ODA loans fundedby the Japanese Government, to be used for the Economic Management andCompetitiveness Credit (EMCC-III) programme and the Support Programme toRespond to Climate Change in Vietnam (SP-RCC-VII) in the 2016 fiscal year. In addition, the Prime Minister gave consent to a proposalon cooperation with Japan to build capacity of ensuring waterway transportsafety.-VNA
