Ambassadors meet with overseas Vietnamese ahead of Tet

Speaking at the event, VietnameseAmbassador to Egypt Tran Thanh Cong introduced unique characteristics ofVietnam’s traditional Tet festival to foreign guests and expressed his belief thatrelations between Vietnam and international friends will be tightened.
The ambassador also extended NewYear wishes to overseas Vietnamese in the country.
Participants were treated totraditional Vietnamese dishes which are often eaten during Tet celebrations.
The same day, VietnameseAmbassador to Algeria Pham Quoc Tru visited and presented gifts to Vietnameseworkers at Tipaza construction site invested by Nibelc Germany Group in Tipazaprovince.
During a working session withrepresentatives of the Nibelc Germany Group and over 120 Vietnamese workers,Tru asked the workers to abide by the host country’s law, stay united and offermutual support, thus leaving good impression on the employer.
A representative of the grouppledged to create favourable conditions for the Vietnamese workers to work moresafely and efficiently and to improve their living conditions.-VNA

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
