The province earned 276.48 million USD from exports, up 9.9percent. Of which, 63.8 million USD was from shipping 126,860 tonnes of riceabroad, up 42.17 percent in volume and 54.8 percent in value.
Meanwhile, up to 36,900 tonnes of frozen aquatic productsworth 84 million USD were shipped abroad during the period. Among them, trafish saw an 8.5 percent reduction in export volume but an increase of 14.2percent in export value.
In order to boost exports this year, the province hasregularly updated policies and information about export markets and promptly removedobstacles to the export of key products such as rice and tra fish.
The province has also flexibly directed cross-bordertrade and regularly maintained trade promotion activities, especially in borderdistricts, contributing to raising its exports.-VNA
