Bac Giang: Inspections detect numerous violations

By carrying out administrative inspections in the first quarter of 2023, authorities of the northern province of Bac Giang uncovered violations totaling nearly 9.5 billion VND (404,000 USD), and recovered some 4.7 billion VND to the State budget.

Bac Giang (VNA) 🧸– By carrying out administrative inspections in the first quarter of 2023, authorities of the northern province of Bac Giang uncovered violations totaling nearly 9.5 billion VND (404,000 USD), and recovered some 4.7 billion VND to the State budget.

In the period, 51 administrate inspections related to State management, and socio-economic affairs were deployed at 131 units, while 45 specialised inspections targeted 260 organisations and individuals. Local inspection agencies issued 116 decisions punishing administrative violations with fines totaling 560 million VND.
Notably, as many as 17 administrative inspections were conducted on financial management and investment for basic construction, land management, financial obligations to the State budget, and mining.

The main areas of inspection and supervision are transportation, investment planning, agriculture, construction management, healthcare, and labour.
The provincial People's Committee has ordered the locality’s inspectorate to carry out inspections on the implementation of assigned tasks; land management and use; construction, investment, and procurement of public assets; exploitation of resources and minerals, and the national target programme. Attention has been also paid to inspecting the law enforcement related to real estate business; the management and implementation of projects with signs of violating laws on urban land use, planning, and management. Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong said the province will focus on overcoming shortcomings and limitations in the inspection work in 2022, and strictly implementing the Law on Inspection, and guiding documents of the Government Inspectorate.
Bac Giang will also pay heed to monitoring inspection activities for local enterprises in association with taking measures to remove difficulties facing enterprises, he said./.
