Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue hosted a banquetin Hanoi on December 6 evening for his Lao counterpart Saysomphone Phomvihane and the Lao NA high-ranking delegation who are on Vietnam visit from December 6-8.

Hueaffirmed that amid complicated and uncertain developments in the region and theworld, loyal and close-knit sentiments between the two countries and their people never change.

Saysomphone expressed his delight at visiting Vietnam after being elected as President ofthe ninth Lao NA. He spoke highly of the results of his talks withHue in the morning the same day as well as a seminar sharing experience betweenthe two legislatures.

The leaders wished the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperationbetween the Vietnamese and Lao Parties, States and people would be everlasting.
