Bibica targets 1.4 trillion VND in revenues

The Bibica Corporation, a leading confectionery firm in Vietnam, has set targets of 1.4 trillion VND (61.5 million USD) in revenues and 86.6 billion VND (3.8 million USD) in after-tax profits in 2017.

HCM City (VNA) – The BibicaCorporation, a leading confectionery firm in Vietnam, has set targets of 1.4 trillionVND (61.5 million USD) in revenues and 86.6 billion VND (3.8 million USD) inafter-tax profits in 2017.

The targets were announced at theBibica Corporation’s shareholders meeting held in HCM City on May 26.

Truong Phu Chien, vice chairmanof the board of directors, said that in 2016, the corporation’s sales exceeded1.26 trillion VND (52.8 million USD). Its after-tax profits stood at 81.2billion VND (3.6 million USD).

Currently, Bibica has more than200 products and 1,200 exclusive distributors, 115,500 retail shops and 500supermarkets and convenient stores across the country. Its products have beenshipped to 15 countries and territories worldwide.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
