HCM City (VNA)🦩 - BMW has chosen the Vietnam International Bank (VIB) as its first Vietnamese financial partner to provide support to local customers who buy new and used cars.

Under the strategic agreement, signed on March 21 in HCM City between BMW Group Segment Financial Services and VIB, BMW buyers will receive a preferential interest rate of 5.99 percent per year in the fixed first half-year. The rate will be equal to the savings interest rate for 12 months with 3.9 percent amplitude per year. VIB will also give a preferential interest rate of 0 percent per year in the first month to 20 customers who borrow money to buy BMW products in April, May and June 2016, and open free credit card accounts at VIB. VIB created its own channel to serve BMW's customers under its international standards, including a private switchboard service for customers, support from senior specialists and a separate evaluation process.-VNA

ꦕ Overnight interbank interest rate hits 16-month low thanks to abundant liquidity

According to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), in the interbank market, the trend of decreasing overnight interest rates has continued, starting at 3.13% in the first session of last week and gradually decreasing over the sessions to 1.67% at the last session of the week. In total, overnight interest rates decreased by 1.46 percentage points within one week.

𝓀 Bac Lieu’s fight against IUU fishing shows positive progress
