Book collection “Ho Chi Minh with India” debuts in Hanoi

A book collection entitled “Ho Chi Minh with India”, recently published in Vietnam and India, was introduced in Hanoi on November 29 in both Vietnamese and English.

Hanoi (VNA) - A book collection entitled “Ho Chi Minh with India”,recently published in Vietnam and India, was introduced in Hanoi on November 29in both Vietnamese and English.

The collection, compiled by the Centre for India Studies of the Ho Chi MinhNational Academy of Politics, includes writings, letters, messages and poemsabout India by President Ho Chi Minh, as well as his memories of India andwritings by Vietnamese and Indian scholars about the late leader andVietnam-India relations.

The collection aims to mark three years of upgrading the Vietnam-Indiastrategic partnership to the comprehensive strategic partnership and inanticipation of the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth nextyear.

Speaking at the event, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Verma Pranay stressed thatthe book collection establishes a firm foundation for the Vietnam-India friendshipand cooperation.

Earlier this month, the book collection made its debut in India’s capital NewDelhi and Kolkata as part of a series of activities to mark Vietnam Month inIndia./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
