Hanoi (VNA) - Top members ofthe Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group in 2017-2019 have professedtheir hopes to bolster relations between their country and Vietnam.

The new leaders of the group were announcedat a ceremony on September 27.

Senate Speaker Eunicio Oliveira andPresident of the Chamber of Deputies Rodrigo Maia are the group’s honourary chairmen,while Congresswoman Jo Moraes is the head of the group’s executive board.

They all pledged to work with the VietnameseEmbassy in Brazil in holding activities to popularise cooperation and businessopportunities and support the embassy in conducting trips in Brazil.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese AmbassadorDo Ba Khoa hoped that the group would help deepen the two countries’ relations.-VNA
