Kuala Lumpur (VNA) - The Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association (MVFA) has launched its first-ever women's healthcare programme in partnership with KPJ Healthcare Group, one of Southeast Asia's leading private healthcare providers.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Shahrul Nizam Ahmad Zamzali, head of Emergency Medicine at the hospital, expressed his honour in collaborating with the friendship association to raise public awareness about healthcare, especially for women. He committed to expanding the programme to other states with significant Vietnamese populations, including Johor and Penang.

Participants also benefited from basic blood tests, physical therapy consultations, nutritional product samples, and opportunities to register for cancer and cardiovascular screening packages designed for women and the elderly./.
