Hanoi (VNA) – The British Council in Vietnam has announced a project worth500,000 GBP (702,800 USD) aiming to help Vietnam preserve, develop and promoteits music and film heritage.
Theproject, to last from 2018 to 2020, focuses on the heritage values of musicgenres and films that are unpopular and on the verge of oblivion in Vietnam.
Aspart of the project, the council will work with localities, cultural heritageresearch institutes and relevant organisations to study, collect documents andimprove their capacity in the work.
Theproject is expected to enable the localities to directly contribute to andbenefit from cultural heritage protection.
