Phnom Penh (VNA) - Cambodia and China signed a number of agreements on November 6 to strengthen their defence cooperation.
The documents, inked by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Tea Bank and visiting Chinese Defence Minister Chang Wanquan following their talks, feature China’s continued provision of military equipment and training for the Southeast Asian country. Tea Banh said the talks achieved good results with the Chinese side affirming to further support and assistance for Cambodia in defence. Later on the same day, the Chinese minister paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Hun Sen. He planned to visit the headquarters of the Cambodian ground forces and Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap province on November 7.-VNA
