Phnom Penh (VNA) – The Cambodian Ministry ofHealth on November 17 issued a decision on the facilitation of travel conditions and theimplementation of health measures for travellers entering the nation.

Accordingly, fully vaccinated visitors, after receiving anegative COVID-19 test result, are not required to quarantine and can travelfreely throughout Cambodia.

In the event of a positive COVID-19 test result, the patientmay be referred for treatment or referred to a facility authorised by the ministry.

The same day, Cambodia held a ceremony to receive twomillion doses of COVID-19 vaccine from China, with Prime Minister Hun Senexpressing his hope for China to open a COVID-19 vaccine production centre inthe nation.

As of November 16, Cambodia had vaccinated 14 million people andforeigners from over five years old, or almost 88 percent of the population./.
